Regular Meetings

Moving to Freedom

How to live sanely in insane times!
Based on the spirituality and practical wisdom of the '12 Steps' we want to offer a space for: • sharing our anxieties and fears and finding support; • being accepted and cared for as we are; • exploring a path to a more fulfilling and peaceful life.
The group will meet Tuesdays 7pm. If you would like to attend, even just to try it out, contact Simon on 840027 or email: simoncornerstonecafe@gmail.com

House Groups

House Groups are small groups providing a place for fellowship involving joint study and reflection, based on a variety of study resources, for example Scripture from the Margins, Spiritual Practices of Jesus, and Lectionary Readings. Currently the groups meet by Zoom fortnightly, usually one on Tuesdays 3:30-4:30, the other Thursdays 8:30-10pm. If you would like to join a session, please email LMCNotices@gmail.com

Spiritual Book Group

The group is facilitated by Kara Cooper (Spiritual Coordinator, Lancaster University) or Simon Stewart and is open to all. It has stimulated great discussion, some passion and much friendship. We have people from churches across the circuit - and we would welcome anyone else who is able to join us.
We have read The Great Divorce by CS Lewis, The Camino by Shirley MacLean, and we are currently reading Jesus Before Christianity by Albert Nolan and next is The First Paul by Marcus J. Borg & John Dominic Crossan.
If you would like to join us please email Liz Dean on langlearn788@btinternet.com

Little Pebbles

We meet at Lancaster Methodist Church, Little Pebbles every Thursday morning from 10am to 11.30am during term time. All children must be accompanied by an adult

Check out our Little Pebbles Facebook page.

Little Pebbles is a toddler group for children before they start school. Each session provides the children with opportunities to play and meet new friends. There are a wide range of toys and activities to engage them including role play, jigsaws, books, small world and construction toys. At the end of each morning we share in a simple story and enjoy singing songs together.

As well as providing children a chance to play and socialise the meetings offer opportunity for new parents to get to know others with children of a similar age. Come and enjoy, coffee, fruit and a chat! Everyone will be very welcome.

No charge, but donations for refreshments welcomed.
